A Yard Free of Fleas and Pests??

A Pest FREE Yard

Is it really possible to organically minimize the amount of fleas and pets in your yard?

It very much is!  If you haven't heard about beneficial nematodes...you will quickly love learning what these "little guys" can do!

Here's what ARBICO Organics have to say about Beneficial Nematodes...

"Beneficial Nematodes are live, microscopic organisms (non-segmented roundworms) that occur naturally in soil throughout the world.  They are parasitic to insect pests that typically have a developing (larval or pupal) stage of life in the soil; however they have been known to parasitize above ground stages of adults, nymphs, and larvae." (ARBICO Organics)

Beneficial Nematodes are applied to the soil where you want to eliminate pests such as fleas, ticks, grubs, fly larvae, fungus gnats, and many, many more!  (Over 200 pests!!)

The nematodes actually get inside the pest and infect it with toxic bacteria...this bacteria in turn kills the pest within 24-48 hours.  The nematodes feed on the bacteria and the host insect tissue.

"Beneficial Nematodes are considered to be one of the most lethal parasites known to kill plant pests." (ARBICO Organics)

Our personal experience with the Beneficial Nematodes:
We applied these beneficial nematodes to our yard last year and I can honestly say I do think they have helped.  We are not seeing near as many pests in the yard and with pets around, that is a major plus!  Fleas are rare and I am happy!  We used the TRIPLE THREAT COMBINATION variety and also applied them twice within 2 weeks apart.  We spent a  fortune sizable amount of water to keep the soil moist for the duration of the application, but overall, I am happy with the results.

If you are interested in finding a way to minimize your outdoor pests and keep down the use of insecticides and chemicals using one or more of ARBICO's Organics Beneficial Nematodes may be what you are looking for!

This link will take you to ARBICO Organics's page for FAQs on their use and application.

If you are interested in learning more, this company has much to offer in the way of Beneficial Insects- which alone can help control certain pest populations, such as Ladybugs or Green Lacewings for Aphid control and Beneficial Mites for various not-so-beneficial mites such as the Two Spotted Spider Mite. They offer Milky Spore Powder for Japanese beetle grub control and many more.

This has been a post I have been wanting to share of my own accord, I was in no way compensated or am affiliated with ARBICO Organics, although I would purchase from them again and will reapply our Beneficial Nematodes as needed!
