Dr. Natasha McBride is the creator of the Gut and Psychology Syndrome (known as the GAPS diet.) She is a Neurosurgeon who also completed a Postgraduate Degree in Human Nutrition.
Having treated her son with a specialized diet (GAPS), who was diagnosed autistic, she then returned to her medical practice in Cambridge and began treating children and adults with learning disabilities, mental disorders, digestive, and immune disorders.
She has published her first book Gut and Psychology Syndrome, Natural Treatment of Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Depression and Schizophrenia in 2004.
The details of this protocol have been HIGHLY successful in treating patients with learning disabilities and mental problems.
Since then she has published another book titled: Put Your Heart In Your Mouth! What Really is Heart Disease and What We Can Do to Prevent and Even Reverse It. This book was in response to so many patients and readers afraid of eating cholesterol rich food sources and those with fat phobic fears.

Thousands of people around the world have successfully followed the GAPS protocol and have helped themselves and heal their families from MANY diseases, symptoms, and complications.
The list of treatable symptoms is just too long to for me to list.
